Need you to know that our registration campaign kicks off tomorrow.

What’s a registration campaign – you ask. Isn’t it enough we’re inundated with the presidential campaign – you plead.

YES! Chickens – it is enough! And enough is enough.

SOOOOOOOO..our campaign involves no mudslinging, no empty promises, no evasions or gross non-sequiturs… nope, it’s just designed to help you get [always] closer to your college degree.

Starting tomorrow we’re going to get the word out…every which way but loose…that students should be meeting with advisors between now and…let’s say December 1*.

Why? Because success requires planning, Chickens!  So the goal is to schedule an appointment with your advisor (see your portal landing page) to discuss your progress and plan a spring 2017 schedule.

It is A-OK to meet with your advisor before the computer system actually opens for registration. You can use one of these handy schedule planning sheets to note all of the information {Scheduling Worksheet} you’ll need when registration actually begins on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8 @ 1:00 PM…(easy to remember, right? EleCtIOn dAY!!!)Image result for anxious clipartDO NOT be mislead by naysayers (you know what they say…naysayers gonna’ nay) you DO NOT need to wait for your fall grades…or anything else…to register. Among the good things about registering on time – you’ll have plenty of wiggle room and be better positioned to make changes if needed.

chicken-platformSo here is the registration campaign platform, Chickens, plain and simple (I mean, it’s going to be …UUUUGE):

  • October 25 – November 22: Meet with your advisor (appointments are good)
  • November 8 @ 1 PM: Computer opens for spring 2017 registration
  • December 1: Registration deadline – *IF YOU HOPE TO BE THE LUCKY RECIPIENT OF A $100 WALMART GIFT CARD TO LIGHTEN YOUR HOLIDAY SHOPPING LOAD!!! AND, YOU KNOW, JUST HAVE ‘IT’ TOGETHER, IN GENERAL

Holler Back Ya'll
